7. TESTING

The comprehensiveness of the testing process reflects on the overall success of any Business Intelligence project. The objective of this step is to ensure that the developed products will implement smoothly into a production environment. A simulated production environment is used for executing these tests. Product integrators work closely with business users to develop and execute Quality Assurance, User Acceptance and Production Integration test plans. The quality of the final product is assessed and improvement opportunities are documented.

A project’s success is measured by the quality and the acceptance of the finished product. The testing phase ensures a high quality solution is delivered.
